Privacy Legislation

Nina Kay is committed to complying with the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 (Cth) amended the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) which was passed by the government to create a privacy regime for the management of personal information by Australian companies and other legal entities.

While the international transfer of personal information may be subject to privacy regimes of other jurisdictions such as The Privacy Directive (95/46/EC) of the European Union (EU) and subsequent EU Commission decisions such as the publication of standard contractual clauses to facilitate personal data transfers to third countries for processing (2001/497/EC). Use of information

i) At Nina Kay we revive information from you when you access and use our website.

ii) We use this information to process your order and payment, set up your account and monitor the order and advise you of any changes or delays in delivery, quantity, product or place changes that may occur from time to time and advise you of further promotions, product launches, sales and so on.

iii) You acknowledge and consent to Nina Kay using your personal information on you, your and spouse or partner and all those in your household and your business associates and partners to conduct credit checks with various credit reference agencies, lenders, legal and debt recovery representatives and third parties in deciding whether or not to accept your orders and to recover payment and we are authorised to share your information with them for this purpose.

iv) You acknowledge and consent to Nina Kay sharing your personal information with law enforcement authorities, if we are requested to do so.

Cookies

You authorise us to lodge a cookie in your computer for the purpose of tracking your orders. This will be valid for a single visit and further cookies shall be deposited for subsequent visits.

You should note that the Broadcasting Services Act 1992 (Cth) (as amended by the Broadcasting Services Amendment (Online Services) Act 1999 (Cth)) regulates Internet content hosted within or accessible from Australia.

This legislation regulates prohibited content by a classification regime (see the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) website http://www.acma.gov.au).
